Ella Rises programs are designed to uplift Latina youth ages 11–18 through art, culture, STEAM, and education. Families can choose one or multiple programs.
Ballet Folklorico
Our art program fosters joy, confidence, and creative self-expression rooted in culture through Latin American Folk dance. Students build confidence, discipline, and pride in their heritage while performing in community events throughout the year.

Mariachi
We love mariachi music, so we've created a female mariachi band! Our mariachi program relaunched in spring of 2025. All levels of music proficiency are welcome— whether you're a beginner or have experience, join us!
Program Details
- Girls ages 11-18
- Mondays from 5:30 PM - 6:45 PM
- Instruments: violin, trumpet, guitarrón, vihuela, guitar
- Annual program fee: $45 (Venmo or cash)
STEAM Workshops
We facilitate virtual and in-person STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) workshops to develop and guide participant inquiry, discussion, and critical thinking of STEAM-related careers.
Our workshops are produced in partnership with Thanksgiving Point, Utah Valley University (UVU), and Brigham Young University (BYU).

Summit + Educational Pathways
The Ella Rises Summit is a day camp packed with activities to give a glimpse of the Ella Rises Experience: art, STEM, and a focus on education!
We conclude the day camp with a tour of a local university or technical college, so students can begin to picture themselves on campus and explore their educational future.
